Shot List:
Filming:
Day One:
I found filming very hard not only was it the first time I was using a camera in 8 months but I was also not used to acting. I don't think properly comprehended how hard and time consuming it would be to act, direct, set up lighting and camera positions this resulted in more retakes and a lot of running back and fourth. Although it still worked and I was aware it would be harder I still think this is the safest way to continue filming in the current climate.
However on this shoot I got to use the blue lighting I had practised and researched which I thought was very effective watching my footage back.
Day Two:
After day one I decided to give myself more time to film and was comforted with the knowledge that this shoot will take longer and I just need to be patient. However one problem I did face was the noise pollution because I was filming outside. Although this doesn't effect my final product because I was recording with out sound the noise just made it very hard to communicate with the cast and crew.
Day Three:
I was very happy with this shoot everything went well considering that in this shoot we had a small fight scene. Leading up to this scene I was worried it would not look right but after a few practises and a camera angle change I was really happy with the final take.
Day Four:
Today I did a couple of re-shoots which were successful and highlight the importance of shooting early allowing yourself enough time if you make any mistakes. Also I captured some sound I needed although I was originally going to use more foley I decided I didn't have enough time.
Day Five:
I didn't get many shots done today however this shoot was hard so I'm still happy with the filming I did. Most of my filming I do using the legs so I can set it up then ask someone to press record however the shots today were nearly all had to be done free hand. This made setting up shots extremely hard and resulted in many takes.
Day Six:
Today I captured some sound this was my first time getting sound effects/foley and although I'm not entirely happy with end result I think I did well with the time I had. Also I filmed the last piece of my film it went really well considering I had two tracking shots.
Overall I'm really happy with the footage I captured I felt my pre-production planning especially my shot list really helped. However looking back over the footage there are a few continuity errors with actors positions and lighting. But this is the most complex production I have done made harder by the fact I couldn't have actors so I couldn't always be behind the camera. I felt it was a real challenge and although it's not perfect I'm happy with the progress I have made. Next time I will film sooner to give myself time for re-shoots.

Peer Feedback:
The lighting was too dark in the beginning and changed throughout the film. There was a lot of different shots you put in there which was good. The sound was good and I could hear everything. Every scene flowed well together overall it was good.
I'm happy with the feedback I received and agree with everything that was said. As I have said previously with more time allowed for reshoots and editing I could have resolved these issues. Next time I need to allow more time for my production.
